EPLO Director Professor Spyridon Flogaitis visited Vilnius for the purpose of discussing with government officials the prospect of Lithuania joining the EPLO as a new member state.
Specifically, Professor Flogaitis visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the Ministry of Justice, as well as the Parliament in order to discuss with high-ranking officials all aspects involving Lithuania’s potential membership in the EPLO including the obligations that Lithuania would have to assume towards the EPLO.
Professor Flogaitis also held meetings involving discussions on the different procedures for universities’ accession to the EPLO at the University of Vilnius and the Mykolas Romeris University. On the occasion of his visit to the Mykolas Romeris University, Professor Flogaitis gave a lecture on the activities of the EPLO to Professors and students.
The visit was supported by D1 Directorate for the UN & International Organizations and Conferences of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and was organized by the Greek Embassy in Vilnius.
