The EPLC, in collaboration with the Algerian League for the Defense of Human Rights, organized the second seminar on “The Rights of Children”, within the framework of the Project “AVICENNE - Support to Algerian NGOs Promoting Human Rights and Democracy”.
The speakers in this event included experts from Portugal, Spain and France.
The audience consisted mainly of NGO representatives, students, academics, jurists and activists involved in the promotion and defense of human rights.
The following issues were discussed during the seminar:
• The international framework for the protection of children
• Children’s rights and globalization
• The Algerian legal framework for the protection of children
