The EPLO, in collaboration with the Office of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform in Lebanon, organized the second seminar on “Good Governance”, within the framework of the Project “ALEXIOS - Administrative Reform in Lebanon”.
The speakers in this event included representatives from the Department for Quality and Efficiency and the General Directorate of Finance of the Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization of Greece.
The audience consisted of 10 Lebanese civil servants from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Energy and Water, the Ministry of Administrative Reform, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and Refugees and the Central Council of Auditors.
The following issues were discussed during the seminar:
- Structure and Policies of the Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization of Greece
- Modernization of the public service delivery system and Implementation of good governance principles
The Lebanese civil servants also had the opportunity to visit the Ministry of Interior, Public Administration and Decentralization of Greece and the Council of State.
