The EPLO, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, organized the first round of seminars, within the framework of the Project “COLCHIS - Training of Jurists on the Rule of Law and Support of the Necessary Legal Reforms in Azerbaijan”.
The speakers in this round of seminars included prominent jurists and representatives from the EPLO.
The audience consisted mainly of judicial candidates of the National School of Judges of the Republic of Azerbaijan and staff of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The following issues were discussed during the two seminars:
• The Application of provisions of the European Convention on Human Rights and case-law of the European Court of Human Rights. European experience, selected cases
• Ethics and disciplinary issues in judicial authorities
Ms. D. Kosmidi, EPLO Associate Researcher/ Project Manager represented the EPLO in the aforementioned seminars.
