The European Public Law Organization (EPLO), in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento, is implementing a research programme focusing on comparative public law and the study of local and regional autonomies in Europe. The programme aims to promote joint research, knowledge exchange and academic cooperation through comparative studies and the organization of annual international conferences. 

The positions are based at the EPLO Centre in Trento, under the supervision of the Centre's Director. The successful candidates will contribute to the organization of an international academic conference to be held in Trento in December 2026, while supporting the research activities of the EPLO Centre in Trento.

Responsibilities

The selected candidates are expected to:

•    Support the organization and implementation of an international conference to be held in Trento in December 2026.
•    Assist in the research activities carried out by the EPLO Centre in Trento.
•    Contribute to literature reviews, data collection, and research documentation.
•    Assist in the preparation of research reports, summaries, and other project-related material.
•    Provide administrative and logistical support for project and research activities, as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

•    PhD from a recognized academic institution.

Experience

•    Previous research experience in academic settings.
•    Experience supporting research projects, academic events, or related activities will be considered an asset.

Languages

•    Good command (oral and written) of English.
•    Good command (oral and written) of Italian.

Competencies

•    Strong research and analytical skills.
•    Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
•    Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an international academic environment.
•    Strong written and oral communication skills.
•    Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Duty Station

The positions will be based at the EPLO Centre in Trento, under the supervision of the Centre's Director. Residence in Trento is required for the duration of the assignment.
